ST. GEORGE — Two delis were robbed of cash at gunpoint, police said.

On Aug. 25, a man walked into the Curtis Hill Deli, at 10 Daniel Low Terrace, at 5:50 p.m., took out a gun and demanded money, the NYPD said.

The suspect took $579 in cash from the register and the 30-year-old male worker's Samsung Galaxy S5 cellphone before he fled on foot, police said.

Then on Aug. 30, the suspect and another man walked into the Fort Place Deli, at 19 Fort Place, at about 5:40 p.m., police said.

One suspect took out a gun while the other suspect suggested he had a firearm inside a black bag and jumped over the counter, taking $200 in cash, authorities said.

The suspects fled on foot towards Jersey Street, police said.

There were no shots fired or injuries in either of the robberies.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
