QUEENS — Police are looking for a group of armed thieves who they said robbed at least four cellphone stores in Queens this month.

Authorities said that three men and one woman are behind the string of robberies, which began on Wednesday, Aug. 10 when two suspects went into a T-mobile store at 75-19 Parsons Blvd. in Kew Gardens Hills around 3 p.m., police said.

They then forced employees into the back of the store and stole an iPhone and $600 from the cash register, before fleeing in a white Nissan Maxima, according to the NYPD.

Two more thieves — the NYPD could not confirm which of the four suspects were involved — then robbed a Hi Point Wireless store at 59-41 Myrtle Ave. in Ridgewood shortly before 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21. They stole 30 cellphones at gunpoint before fleeing in a black 4-door sedan, police said.

Four days later, on Thursday, Aug. 25, shortly after 6:30 p.m. two of the suspects robbed an AT&T store in Glen Oaks at 255-01 Union Turnpike, where they stole 29 cellphones and approximately $300 in cash — also at gunpoint.

On Tuesday, Aug. 30, around 11 a.m., two armed suspects robbed a Verizon store at 253-25 Union Turnpike, one block away from the previous location, police said. They forced an employee to open the store’s safe and fled with 20 cellphones, officials said.

No one was injured during the incidents, police said.

Authorities described the one of the suspects as a man who stands approximately 5-foot-6. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweater, black pants, black sneakers and blue gloves.

The second man is also 5-foot-6 and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater, black pants, black sneakers and blue gloves, officials said.

Police described the third suspect as being approximately 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black du-rag, a black hooded sweater, black pants and white sneakers.

The fourth suspect was described as a woman who was last seen wearing a black du-rag and a black T-shirt, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
