SUNSET PARK — Colson Patisserie, a popular Park Slope café and pre-gym hangout for Mayor Bill de Blasio, is expanding its operations in Sunset Park with a new commissary kitchen and cafe, its owner said.

A new 8,000 square-foot kitchen at 253 36th St. in Industry City, which includes a 500 square-foot café, is expected to open next month, owner Yonatan Israel said Tuesday.

The expansion was first reported by the New York Post.

Colson Patisserie has operated a smaller commissary kitchen on 36th Street with a retail stand since 2012. The café sells its products wholesale and also offers catering, according to its website

While the menu of soups, sandwiches, salads and baked goods at Park Slope's Ninth Street and Sixth Avenue spot will be very similar to the offerings in Sunset Park, Israel said the new location won't be a replica of the former.

"We didn't try to clone Park Slope," he said. "[It has] it's own identity."
