MANHATTAN — Seven subway lines were disrupted during Monday morning's rush-hour commute when water from a nearby building started spilling into the Columbus Circle station, the MTA said.
Trains along the A, B, C, D, F, M and R lines were suspended, running on other lines or otherwise delayed as water began spilling into the station from the street-level about 7:10 a.m., according to MTA spokeswoman Amanda Kwan.
Regular service resumed about 10:12 a.m. with residual delays, according to the MTA's website.
It wasn't immediately clear what sparked the flooding or from which building it came.
Riders were taking to social media to complain about the MTA.
After waiting half an hour for the b train they decided to finally say that there is no b train. #mta u Suck!!! #latetowork 😒
