WILLIAMSBURG — One teen was arrested and another suspect remains at large for the July rape of a 14-year-old girl inside an apartment near the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Lynch Street, according to police and prosecutors.

Justin Lopez, 17, who was arraigned on rape charges in Brooklyn Criminal Court on Wednesday, and his accomplice, somehow tricked the younger girl to follow them into the apartment on July 2, police said.

The pair raped her even as she cried and fell to the ground at around 3 p.m. that day, prosecutors said.

They then picked her up and continued to rape her, prosecutors charged.

More than a month after the attack, Special Victims investigators tracked Lopez down, though they still haven't cuffed the second perpetrator.

Lopez, a Bushwick resident with no prior arrests according to police, was released on his own recognizance following the Wednesday arraignment and is due back in court on Oct. 25.

The boy's attorney at Brooklyn Defender Services, Debora Silberman didn't respond to a request for comment immediately.
