THE BRONX — An 82-year-old woman was robbed of her gold necklace, shoved to the ground and repeatedly kicked by an unknown attacker in Belmont on Sunday, police said.

The assailant followed his victim into her apartment building near the intersection of Arthur Avenue and East 188th Street around 6 p.m. on Aug. 21, police said.

The man took the 82-year-old’s gold necklace, pushed her down and kicked her several times before fleeing eastbound on East 188th Street, police said.

His victim refused medical attention, police said.

Surveillance footage captured images of the suspect who was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, gray shorts, black sneakers and black baseball cap.
