MANHATTAN — A shirtless man and a woman broke into the Indonesian consulate on the Upper East Side on Monday morning to steal a case of vodka, a Samsung tablet, a suitcase full of clothes and a van, police said.

The duo used an unlocked side door to get into the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia at 5 E. 68th St., near Fifth Avenue, about 1 a.m., NYPD officials said.

The pair, who are both between 18 and 25 years old, swiped keys to a tan Honda Odyssey, which they then fled the scene in, police said.

The man, who can be seen without his shirt on in surveillance footage police released Tuesday, wore gray sweatpants and dark sandals, officials said.

The woman wore a black and white striped top with dark pants and white sneakers, police said.

Consulate officials didn't immediately return a request for comment.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
