HARLEM — The owner of a swanky Fifth Avenue condo had $50,000 in jewelry snatched from her home, and she's pointing her finger at the help, police said.

The 65-year-old woman discovered two diamond necklaces, two pairs of earrings, a multicolored stone and an unspecified piece of gold jewelry missing from her home in the Fifth on the Park building in East Harlem, according to authorities.

She discovered the jewelry missing at 8 a.m. on Aug. 3, and reported the incident to police on Aug. 19, officials said.

The victim told police she believed the culprit was one of her six dog walkers or her housekeeper, saying her employees are the only ones with access to the jewels, according to authorities.

No arrests were made as of Monday morning, police said.
