MANHATTAN — Five Upper East Siders had their valuables snatched within a three-day period after they left their property unattended at several local spots, according to police.

Residents reported having their wallets, pricey rings, bags and credit cards swiped while they weren't paying attention during the time period between Aug. 14 and Aug. 17, authorities said.

There were no arrests in any of the cases as of Friday.

Here's a break down of those incidents:

Lenox Hill Hospital Emergency Room, 100 E. 77th St. at Lexington Avenue

A 59-year-old woman, who had accompanied her sister to the hospital on Aug. 14, returned to the emergency room her sister had been placed in at 5 p.m. to find that her wallet had been taken out of her purse.

A thief took $180 in cash, bank cards, gift cards, her MetroCard and her driver's license. She had left the purse unattended in the shared room for 20 minutes, police said.

► Five Mile Stone at 1642 Second Ave. at East 85th Street

A 21-year-old woman placed her Marc Jacobs purse on a hook under the bar while she was socializing at about 2 a.m. on Aug. 14 and discovered it was missing when she returned to it, police said.

The bag was stolen along with its contents including $130 in cash, $322 in another unspecified currency, Nike Air Max sneakers worth $99, her drivers license and gift cards, police said. The value of all the items together amounted to $591, they added.

Bus Stop at 1191 Third Ave. near East 70th Street

On Aug. 15, an 82-year-old man sat on a bench at about 9:15 a.m. to wait for the bus and placed his briefcase on the ground, police said.

When he got up to board the bus about ten minutes later, his briefcase — which was carrying his debit card, keys, American Express card and his appointment book — was missing, according to authorities.

East 77th Street Subway Station

A 47-year-old man had his bag snatched on Aug. 15 around 10:30 p.m. while he was taking a nap on a bench on the southbound 6 train platform of the station, police said.

He dozed for about 10 minutes before discovering the bag and its contents missing, including a 17-inch iPad worth $250, jeans, a shirt, underwear, papers, books, notebooks, a calendar and a bag of toiletries, police said.

► David Barton Gym at 30 E. 85th St. at Madison Avenue

A woman had three Cartier rings stolen after she left them on a shelf in the shower of the gym's locker room at about 8:10 a.m. on Aug. 17, police said.

She realized as she was leaving the gym, but when she went back for them they were gone, according to police. The rings were valued at $20,000 total.
