TRIBECA — The elaborate fantasy world of a popular video game franchise has found a home in TriBeCa.

The magical kingdoms of "Final Fantasy," a role-playing video game first launched in 1987, are now on display at TriBeCa's Hpgrp Gallery, as part of a show dedicated to the latest installment of the gamer favorite and a computer-generated movie based on the newest game.

Film visuals and concept art for the just-released movie, "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV," will be main components for the exhibition, along with illustrations for the upcoming video game, "Final Fantasy XV," slated to come out this fall.

The exhibit gives fans a first glimpse at some of what's on the way for the next "Final Fantasy" and also gives gallery-goers a chance to appreciate the work of longtime Japanese illustrator Yoshitaka Amano — the artist behind the imagery.

"Since its initial release in 1987, the Final Fantasy series has captured the imaginations of millions around the world," the gallery said in a statement. "[The exhibit] offers visitors the chance to be among the first to step foot inside this fantastic world."

The Hpgrp Gallery, which moved to TriBeCa from Chelsea in 2015, also has a location in Japan.

"The Magic of Kingsglaive and Final Fantasy XV” is on display from Aug. 19 to Sept. 3 at the 434 Greenwich Street Gallery. The gallery is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
