UPPER WEST SIDE — A fast-moving fire tore through a West 97th Street apartment building Tuesday night, the FDNY said.

The blaze broke out on the sixth floor of the seven-story building at 311 W. 97th St., near West End Avenue, about 8:55 p.m., fire officials said.

It took about 75 firefighters to bring it under control about 50 minutes later, the FDNY said.

No one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation, officials said.
