LONGWOOD — A man's car, cash and MetroCard were stolen during a recent South Bronx burglary, police said.

The crime took place around 2 a.m. on Aug. 9 when one or more suspects climbed through an open window to get inside a home at Fox Street and Intervale Avenue, according to the NYPD.

They then stole the 36-year-old male victim's credit cards and MetroCard, along with $230 in cash, electronics and the keys to his gray compact SUV, which they drove away in, police said.

A man and woman then used the stolen MetroCard at the 110th Street 2/3 subway station on Aug. 11 around 6 p.m., according to police.

Video shows the pair going through the turnstile at the subway station.

The man is between 18 and 25 years old with long black hair and was last seen in a white tank top, dark shorts and white sneakers, while the woman is between 20 and 30 years old with red hair and was wearing slippers, a light colored shirt and light colored shorts with a towel around her shoulders, police said.

Anyone with information about this burglary is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
