MOTT HAVEN — A man repeatedly grabbed an 8-year-old girl's butt in a subway station earlier this month, police said.
The girl was walking behind her 39-year-old mother up the stairs between the 2 and 4 line platform at the 149th Street/Grand Concourse subway station on Aug. 2 around 7:30 p.m. when the suspect came up to her from behind, squeezed her butt twice and said he was sorry, according to the NYPD.
He then ran back toward the southbound 4 train, police said.
Police have released a sketch of the suspect and describe him as a roughly 30-year-old man who stands between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs between 160 and 175 pounds and has straight black hair and a light goatee.
He was last seen wearing black jeans, glasses and a blue Yankees T-shirt, police said.
