CHELSEA — A thief stole a $15,000 Ducati motorcycle while the owner was partying inside a Chelsea nightclub, the NYPD said.

The 30-year-old victim parked his 2016 white Ducati motorcycle across from the Dream Downtown hotel at 355 W. 16th St., between Eighth and Ninth avenues, around 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 4 and then went to TAO Lounge just down the block, where he was “partying,” police said.

When he left the lounge and returned to his parking spot around 3:45 a.m., he discovered the bike was gone, the NYPD said.

A 23-year-old witness told the owner he’d seen another man stand near a white van, then push the motorcycle eastbound on West 16th Street, toward Eighth Avenue, the NYPD said.

Police canvassed the area but weren’t able to find the motorcycle, which was valued at $15,000 the NYPD said.

Other notable crimes in Chelsea's 10th Precinct include:
