QUEENS — Police are hunting a man who shot another in the jaw during a dispute on a Jamaica street, police said.

Police said they were looking for 35-year-old Rodney Ivey who they say got into an argument with the 30-year-old victim in front of a building on Sutphin Boulevard, between 110th Road and 111th Avenue, around 7 p.m. on June 25.

Ivey left the location, but later returned and allegedly shot at the victim multiple times, striking him in the jaw before fleeing, according to the NYPD.

The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition, police said.

It was not clear what the men, who did not seem to know each other, argued about, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
