By Dartunorro Clark | August 10, 2016 2:58pm

HARLEM — Two men impersonating NYPD officers stopped, frisked and robbed a man, police said.

A 60-year-old Brooklyn man was walking in East Harlem on 118th and Lexington Avenue on Aug. 3 at 2:30 p.m., when two men walked up claiming to be NYPD officers.

“I’m a police officer, put your hands on the wall,” one of the suspects told the man.

As the man assumed the position, the two men frisked the victim and removed $625 from his wallet and the victim’s Samsung LG K7 cell phone, police said.

The victim sustained no injuries and the suspects fled by foot. One of the suspects was about 5-foot-8 and about 180 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
