GREENPOINT — Brooklyn Night Bazaar will reopen its doors in September in the shuttered Polonaise Terrace catering hall on Greenpoint Avenue, over a year the venue was elbowed out by a BMW car dealership.
Part marketplace, concert hall, restaurant and arcade all rolled into one, the venue launched their website Monday, and have their show slated for Sept. 9, and will feature indie rockers Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.
The owners didn't immediately respond to a request for further comment.
Gothamist, who is hosting the first two shows and is a partner in the venture according the website, earlier reported on the venue's grand opening.
Following the Sept. 9 show, hardcore punk band Pissed Jeans will take the stage on Sept. 10, and on Sept. 13, NiteHawk Cinema will host a screening of the 1962 Roman Polanski drama "Knife in the Water."
The venue will also feature karaoke, an arcade, ping pong and a vendors market, according to their website.
On the grub front, The Brooklyn Star, nearby neighborhood restaurant featuring seasonal South and Southwestern American cuisine, will run the venue's restaurant.
The owner of Brooklyn Night Bazaar, Aaron Broudo, currently runs concessions at Jacob Riis Park on the Rockaway peninsula.
