Men Steal Thousands of Dollars Worth of Goods From 2 Sunnyside Homes: NYPD

SUNNYSIDE — A pair of robbers stole thousands of dollars in cash and jewelry in two robberies, the NYPD said.

Two men entered the front door of a home near 43rd Avenue and 44th street at about 3:20 p.m. on July 15 and stole about $1,400 in cash, jewelry worth $8,000 and electronics, police said.

In another incident, burglars stole a laptop and six small diamonds from a home on 44th street sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on July 29, police said

Police suspect the two robberies are related and released surveillance video of the men from the July 15 burglary.
