VIDEO: 2 Men Attacked by Group in Morris Heights Robbery Attempt, NYPD Says

THE BRONX — Two men were attacked in Morris Heights by a group of teens trying to rob them in broad daylight, according to the NYPD.

The two victims were walking near the corner of West Tremont and University avenues on July 22 at about 7:15 p.m. when a gang of seven teens attacked them in a wild melee that spilled into the street, security video showed.

The men managed to fend off the teens, who fled north on University Avenue without any of their property.

The 18-year-old and 20-year-old victims refused medical attention at the scene.
