
FLUSHING — A thief emptied a sleeping subway rider's pockets then used his credit card to buy a meal at IHOP, the NYPD said.
A 25-year-old man fell asleep on a Manhattan-bound 7 train at about 4 a.m. on July 17. When he woke up, he realized someone had taken his wallet and cellphone, police said.
Soon after the robbery, the suspect used the victim's Chase credit card at a Queens IHOP then used the victim's MetroCard at the 103rd Street subway station, police said.
