SOHO — Two men stole $53,490 in pricey handbags and jewelry from SoHo boutique Celine in an early morning burglary last week, police said.
The men broke in through the front door of the 67 Wooster St. shop at about 5:15 a.m. on July 29, police said. They grabbed a total of 23 bags and necklaces within five minutes, then fled the store — running out through the front door.
Police were still investigating the theft.
