Man Knocked Down and Robbed on 106th Street, NYPD Says

EAST HARLEM — Two men attacked and robbed someone of $500 after pushing him down on 106th Street on Tuesday morning, according to the NYPD.

A 28-year-old man was standing outside Sapito's Sports Bar at 172 E. 106th Street at about 4:30 a.m., when the two suspects walked toward him with an unknown object that one of them pulled from a big plastic bag.

Video surveillance shows that they knocked him down to the ground in the street and ran off with $500 in cash, police said.

The suspects were wearing shorts and T-shirts in the video.
