CHELSEA — A pizzeria worker was arrested for touching a customer’s chest and waist before stealing her wallet, the NYPD said.

The 19-year-old victim told police she was getting pizza at Pizza 23, at 268 W. 23rd St. between Seventh and Eighth avenues, around 2:15 a.m. on July 30 when a 47-year-old employee touched her chest and waist.

Feeling “uncomfortable,” the customer left the pizzeria but returned when she realized her wallet was no longer in her purse, the NYPD said.

She asked the worker if he’d taken her wallet, but he ignored her and told her to come back the next day, police said.

When police arrived at the eatery, the man refused to talk and tried to leave before they arrested him, the NYPD said.

The woman’s wallet, which included $40 cash, two credit cards, a debit card and the woman’s driver’s license, was found inside the worker's front pocket, police said.

A Pizza 23 manager said Wednesday that employee was no longer working there.
