BUSHWICK — He's not camera shy.

Police are looking for a man caught on surveillance video in connection to two burglaries in which he snuck into an apartment, snatched parcels from an unattended lobby and reached into an open window to steal a cellphone, according to police.

In the most recent incident the burglar walked into a Lawton Street building near Bushwick Avenue on July 19 at around 6: 45 p.m. as two people held open the door, security camera footage released by police shows.

That evening the thief walked into an open apartment inside the building and took laptops and cash, police said.

The suspect passed through the lobby several times while inside the building, first scoping out the packages and parcels waiting there, then grabbing several and stuffing them in a plastic bag, the video shows.

The man then left the lobby for a minute, but soon returned to grab a few more parcels. Police didn't say what was in the packages or how much all the items were worth.

The suspect appears to be in his late teens to early twenties and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, a black baseball cap, black jeans and black and white sneakers.

Police believe the same thief is to blame for a July 3 incident also captured on a security camera, where the perpetrator stood on a bucket near Jefferson Street and Wilson Avenue, reached through a window and grabbed the cell phone of a 33-year-old man.
