LONGWOOD — An armed robber staked out the vestibule of an apartment building before he held up a delivery man over the weekend, the NYPD said.
The 49-year-old victim was exiting 940 Tiffany St. Sunday after making a delivery at about 5:25 p.m., police said.
The suspect can be seen in a security camera video pacing and looking out the glass front door of the vestibule. It then appears that he exited the vestibule, only to re-enter when the victim enters from inside the building.
The suspect then pulled out a pistol in his right hand and demanded the man hand over money, the police said.
The victim gave the man $90 in cash before the robber fled the scene, according to the NYPD.
