By Allegra Hobbs | July 26, 2016 12:11pm

EAST VILLAGE — Police are looking for a burglar who broke into an East 14th St. apartment on July 22 and made off with nearly $1,000 worth of electronics.

The suspect made his way into the apartment near Avenue A at 1:37 p.m. by picking the lock, police said, then pilfered the apartment before fleeing.

The suspect snatched up $964 worth of electronics from the 29-year-old male victim’s apartment, including a white iPad 4 and a Canary security system, police said.

The victim’s home security system captured some footage of the burglar before he disconnected the camera, authorities said.

Police have released the footage of the suspect, who is seen wearing a blue baseball cap, a striped polo shirt, gray cargo shorts, and black sneakers.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477)
