BUSHWICK — Police zapped a suicidal samurai sword-wielding man who was threatening them and others at Bushwick's Maria Hernandez Park on Monday night, officials said.
Angel Trujillo, 46, was waving blades around in the park near Knickerbocker Avenue and Starr Street about 8 p.m., threatening a man and woman, 37 and 30, an NYPD spokesman said Tuesday.

He then left the park and the victims pointed him out to police who caught up to him at Knickerbocker Avenue and Troutman Street, the spokesman said.
Trujillo was still waving his blades around when police ordered him to drop them, but he refused, so a sergeant stunned him with her Taser, officials said.
Trujillo, of Bedford-Stuyvesant, was taken into custody and given a psychiatric evaluation, police said.
He was charged with purchasing a weapon and menacing, police said.
Police recovered two swords, a machete and what appear to be two kitchen knives.
There were no reported injuries, officials said.
