MORRISANIA — A new South Bronx LGBT health center offering services like hormone therapy and HIV treatment has opened for business.

Callen-Lorde, which provides medical care focusing on the needs of the LGBT community, opened its new facility at 3144 Third Ave., just a few blocks away from The Hub at Third Avenue and 149th Street, the group announced Thursday.

The health center offers services like HIV care, hormone therapy, primary care, lesbian and bisexual women's health care, sexual health care and short-term mental health services.

Patients will also have access to an on-site pharmacy, and all members of Callen-Lorde's team in The Bronx speak English and Spanish.
