UPPER EAST SIDE — A palatial 17-room townhouse that used to be home to the late fashion designer Gianni Versace can be yours — for just $65,000 per month.
The six-floor home on East 64th St., off Fifth Avenue, is 14,000 square feet of luxury, with marble floors, leopard carpeting and crystal chandeliers.
It includes five bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, a marble bathub, a balcony, a library, a garden and a garage, according to Corcoran Group Real Estate which has the rental listing.
The whole mansion is decorated with Austrian parquet, mosaics and marble to mimic an Italian villa, and has a rear balcony that runs the width of the house and overlooks the garden.
It will be available for rental, fully furnished, starting mid-August, Corcoran states.
The home was originally listed for rent in April for $120,000 a month, according to The Real Deal.
Curbed New York first reported the listing.
A spokesman for Corcoran did not respond to requests for comment.
