MIDTOWN — A thief who went on a three-week spree stealing women’s purses and pocketbooks has been arrested, the NYPD said.
Maricio Dominguez-Bernal, 64, was awaiting arraignment on nine counts of grand larceny and one count of petit larceny following his arrest on Thursday, police said.
Between June 14 and June 30, Dominguez-Bernal stole purses and pocketbooks from 10 different women in Manhattan, police said.
He was caught on camera stealing a woman’s black handbag at 5 Bryant Park on June 14, the NYPD said.
