
LOWER EAST SIDE — A female construction worker was taken to the hospital on June 30 after a male passerby elbowed her in the breast, police said.
The victim, a 28-year-old woman, was controlling pedestrian traffic around a construction site at the northwest corner of Clinton and Broome streets around 8:30 a.m. when the man told her she was "doing her job incorrectly" and struck her in the left breast with his elbow, according to a police report.
The victim reported pain and discomfort after the incident and was taken to Beth Israel Hospital, according to authorities.
The suspect is a bald man with brown eyes, standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing roughly 250 pounds, according to a police report.
The investigation is ongoing, police said, and so far no arrests have been made.
