WEST VILLAGE — The NYPD is looking for a man stealing debit card information and getting cash from ATMs around the Village, Chelsea and Hell's Kitchen, police said.

The thief first used a 57-year-old man's debit card number and withdrew $683 from an ATM at 305 W. 28th St. about 12:30 p.m. on March 7, according to police. The victim still had his debit card at the time, police said.

About two weeks later, on March 20, the man obtained a 53-year-old woman's debit card number — while the woman still had her card with her — and withdrew $120 from a Bank of America at 620 W. 42nd St. about 3:21 a.m., police said.

Six days later, he used another person's debit card number to withdraw an unspecified amount of money from an ATM at 301 Third Ave., police said, about 3:30 p.m. on March 26. That person also still had their debit card with them, police said.

And on March 29, he put a "skimmer" on a vending machine at the Gristedes at 3 Sheridan Square in the West Village about 9:30 a.m., police said.

Police released surveillance photos of the man. Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. All calls are confidential.
