PARK SLOPE — Soon there could be as many real estate offices as there are strollers in Park Slope.
Halstead Property will open a 2,800-square-foot branch on Seventh Avenue in late fall — the brokerage's fourth location in the neighborhood — a spokeswoman said Friday.
Halstead will move into 160 Seventh Ave., between Garfield Place and First Street. The space was last occupied by Italian restaurant Tutta Pasta, which closed in late 2015.
Halstead already runs "strategically located" offices at 76 Seventh Ave. and 244 Fifth Ave., and has no plans to close them, a spokeswoman said. Earlier this year, Halstead took over boutique real estate firm Temple Morrow in South Slope, at 1214 Eighth Ave.
“There are no plans to close any existing offices in Brooklyn," said Halstead's Trish Martin, executive director of Brooklyn sales. "We are committed to being accessible to our clients and customers throughout the borough and look forward to serving them from our Center Slope space in the fall.”
The old Tutta Pasta space is one of several neighborhood storefronts that have become real estate offices this year.
In February, Compass moved into the old Two Boots Pizza space at 514 Second St. off Seventh Avenue. In March, boutique real estate firm Space Marketing Shop moved into the former Cog & Pearl space at 190 Fifth Ave.
In early June, the sales office for 251 First St. — the new high-rise condo building on Fourth Avenue with a stroller valet — opened at 304 Fifth Ave. near Second Street, in the space last occupied by the bar Loki Lounge, which moved around the corner.
More are on the way.
Real estate giant Douglas Elliman is expected to triple the size of its Park Slope presence this year with a new office at 187 Seventh Ave. and Second Street, in the ground floor of a building that's being renovated into luxury condos.
