TIMES SQUARE — An attacker randomly punched a woman in the face as she was walking near Times Square, the NYPD said.
The 29-year-old victim, from New Jersey, told police she was walking near the northeast corner of West 53rd Street and Eighth Avenue around 11:18 p.m. on July 2 when a man she didn’t know came up and punched her in the face.
The man fled south on Eighth Avenue after the attack, police said.
Police searched the area for the suspect, but couldn’t find him.
The woman refused medical attention, the NYPD said.
