12 Subway Lines Slated for Service Disruptions This Weekend, MTA Says

MIDTOWN — Twelve subway lines are slated for service disruptions this weekend as the MTA continues its widespread work on stations, rails and signals.

SKIP TO YOUR LINE HERE: 1 Train; 2 Train; 3 Train; 4 Train; 5 Train; 6 Train; A Train; C Train; E Train; F Train; G Train; N Train

1 Train: From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, 1 trains will be suspended both ways between 14th Street and South Ferry. Free shuttle buses will provide alternate service between Chambers Street and South Ferry. Transfer between the 1, 2 and 3 lines at Times Square or 14th Street. Transfer between 2s, 3s and shuttle buses at Chambers Street.

2 Train: From 4:45 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday, Brooklyn-bound 2 trains will skip Jackson Avenue.

From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, 2s will run local both ways between Chambers Street and 34th Street.

3 Train: Until the fall, 3s will skip Saratoga and Pennsylvania avenues both ways. Use free shuttle buses instead.

For service to/from Saratoga, use shuttle buses to/from Rockaway Avenue. B7 riders can transfer to/from shuttle buses at Saratoga Avenue.

For service to/from Pennsylvania, use shuttle buses to/from Van Siclen Avenue. B20 and B83 riders can transfer to/from free shuttle buses at Pennsylvania Avenue. Free transfers will be available with a MetroCard.

From 6:30 a.m. to midnight Saturday and Sunday, 3s will run local both ways between Chambers and Penn Station.

4 Train: Until the fall, 4s will skip Saratoga and Pennsylvania avenues both ways. Use free shuttle buses instead.

For service to/from Saratoga, use shuttle buses to/from Rockaway Avenue. B7 riders can transfer to/from shuttle buses at Saratoga Avenue.

For service to/from Pennsylvania, use shuttle buses to/from Van Siclen Avenue. B20 and B83 riders can transfer to/from free shuttle buses at Pennsylvania Avenue. Free transfers will be available with a MetroCard.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday, 4s will run local both ways between 125th Street and Brooklyn Bridge.

5 Train: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, 5s will be suspended both ways between Eastchester-Dyre Avenue and East 180th Street. 5s will run every 20 minutes between East 180th Street/149th Street-Grand Concourse and Bowling Green days and evenings only. Free shuttle buses will run all weekend between Eastchester-Dyre Avenue and East 180th Street, making all 5 stops.

From 7:45 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday, 5 trains are suspended in both directions between E 180th Street and 149 Street-Grand Concourse. Take the 2 instead. Transfer between 2 and 5 trains at 149 St-Grand Concourse.

From 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sunday, 5 trains will run every 20 minutes. Trains run local in both directions between 125th Street and Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall.

6 Train: From 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday, Pelham Bay Park-bound 6 trains run express from Parkchester to Pelham Bay Park. To Castle Hill Avenue, Zerega Avenue, Westchester Square, Middletown Road and Buhre Avenue, take the Pelham Bay Park-bound 6 to Pelham Bay Park and transfer to a Brooklyn Bridge-bound 6. From these stations, take a Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall bound 6 to Parkchester and transfer to a Pelham Bay Park-bound 6.

From 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, 6s will run every 16 minutes between Pelham Bay Park and Third Avenue-138th Street.

A Train: From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, A trains will be suspended in both directions between 168th St and Inwood-207 St. Service will operate between 168th Street and Far Rockaway/Lefferts Boulevard. Free shuttle buses will operate along two routes:

On Broadway, between 168th Street and 207th Street, making stops at 175th Street, 181st Street, 190th Street and Dyckman Street

On Fort Washington Avenue, between 168th Street and 190th Street, making stops at 175th Street and 181st Street. Transfer between trains and buses at 168th Street.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, A trains will be rerouted via the F in both directions between West 4th Street-Washington Square and Jay St-MetroTech.

For service to/from Spring Street, Canal Street, and Chambers Street, take the E instead via a transfer at West 4th Street.

For service to/from Fulton Street, take the J instead via transfer at the Delancey-Essex Streets F station. Or use the E at the World Trade Center station.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday, July 8, to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, July 10, and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday, July 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, downtown A trains run express from 145th Street to 59th Street-Columbus Circle.

From 11:30 p.m. Friday, July 8, to 5 a.m. Monday, A trains will run local in both directions between 168th Street and 145th Street.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday, A trains will run local in both directions between West 4th Street-Washington Square and 59th Street-Columbus Circle.

From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, As will run local both ways between 168th Street and 145th Street.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday, As will run local both ways between West 4th Street and Columbus Circle.

C Train: From 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, C service will be suspended both ways from 145h Street to 168th Street. Take the A instead.

From 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, downtown Cs will run express from 145th Street to Columbus Circle.

From 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Cs will be rerouted via the F line both ways between West 4th Street and Jay Street-MetroTech.

E Train: From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday, Es will run local both ways between Queens Plaza and Forest Hills-71st Avenue.

F Train: Until early next year, Coney Island-bound Fs will skip Avenue I, Bay Parkway, Avenue N, Avenue P, Avenue U and Avenue X. To get to these stops, take the F to Kings Highway or Neptune Avenue and transfer to a Queens-bound train. To get from these stops, take a Queens-bound F to Kings Highway or 18th Avenue and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Coney Island-bound Fs will run express from Jay Street-MetroTech to Church Avenue.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday, Fs will run local both ways between 21st Street-Queensbridge and Forest Hills-71st Avenue.

G Train: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Gs will be suspended both ways between Church Avenue and Hoyt-Schermerhorn. As and Fs provide alternate service. Gs will operatre in two segments between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues, and between Bedford-Nostrand and Hoyt-Schermerhorn every 20 minutes. To continue your trip, transfer at Bedford-Nostrand.

N Train: Until next spring, Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard-bound trains will skip 86th Street, Avenue U, Kings Highway, 20th Avenue, 18th Avenue, New Utrecht Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway. Trains will stop at Bay Parkway and Eighth Avenue.

To get to 86th Street, Avenue U and Kings Highway, take an Astoria-bound train to Bay Parkway and transfer to a Coney Island-bound train.

To get to 20th Avenue, 18th Avenue, New Utrecht Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway, take an Astoria-bound train to Eighth Avenue and transfer to a Coney Island-bound train.

From these stations, take a Coney Island-bound train to Bay Parkway or Stillwell Avenue and transfer to an Astoria-bound train.

For New Utrecht Avenue-62nd Street, take the D train. Transfer to an Astoria-bound N train at 36th Street.
