By Trevor Kapp | July 8, 2016 1:05pm | Updated on July 10, 2016 1:44pm

THE BRONX — An FDNY EMT was shot in the arm with a BB gun while riding inside an ambulance in Hunts Point Friday morning, police and fire officials said.

The ambulance was stopped at a right red at East 163rd Street and Intervale Avenue when the EMT was wounded about 10:45 a.m., the NYPD said.

He was taken to Lincoln Hospital with minor injuries, police said.

No arrests were made. It’s unclear whether the EMT was the intended target, the NYPD said.

The incident comes after five police officers were shot dead by a sniper in Dallas Thursday night during a protest.
