BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Police released footage of the suspected getaway vehicle used by a gunman who shot seven people after being denied entry to a July 4 barbecue.
Investigators believe the shooter took off in a white four-door Toyota Camry following the shooting at the party on Chauncey Street, near Saratoga Avenue, about 11:30 p.m., the NYPD said.
Police were trying to determine if the gunman drove off in the vehicle or if he was a passenger.
A person-of-interest was picked up immediately after the shooting but he hadn't been charged as of Friday, police said.
The victims, ranging in age from 17 to 20, were taken to area hospitals and were all expected to survive.
