QUEENS — It's  "Glee" vs. "Smash" this week in Forest Hills.

Two Tony nominees — Matthew Morrison and Megan Hilty — will join the New York Pops orchestra during a concert this Thursday at the Forest Hills Stadium.

Morrison, who is best known for starring as choir director Will Schuester on the hit Fox show "Glee," was also in the long-running Broadway show "Hairspray."

He will be joined by Hilty, who played aspiring actress Ivy Lynn in the NBC's musical drama "Smash." She also starred as Glinda in "Wicked" on Broadway.

The singers will perform songs from both TV shows, in addition to Broadway standards and works from the Great American Songbook, the organizers said.

Music director and conductor Steven Reineke will lead the orchestra, which specializes in popular classics.

The orchestra, Morrison and Hilty "are going to knock it out of the park,” Reineke said in a statement. “Matthew and Megan have performed with the orchestra before, and they are always absolutely electric."

Last year, the New York Pops chose the stadium to become its official summer home.

The orchestra is also bringing back its “Kids in the Balcony” program, which provides about 1,000 free tickets to underprivileged children, the organizers said. The tickets will be distributed among students throughout the city via various schools and community organizations.

Prices range from $15 to $100.50. Tickets can be purchased here. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 8. Doors open at 6 p.m.
