BROOKLYN — A man was in stable condition after being shot in the torso five times in Bushwick Monday night, police said.
The 18-year-old, whose name wasn't immediately released, was in a car that drove up to Cooper Street and Wilson Avenue about 10:12 p.m. when he yelled at girl in a nearby crowd, an NYPD spokesman said.
The situation escalated into an argument until someone in the crowd pulled a gun and shot him five times, police said.
He was treated at Brookdale Hospital where he was listed in stable condition Tuesday, police said.
There were no immediate arrests, police said.
