LOWER EAST SIDE — A recent rash of car break-ins in the neighborhood reached at least 13 incidents in the past month, after three more drivers reported finding their vehicles with smashed windows, according to police.

In the latest incident, on June 28, a man returned to his car parked at 110 Suffolk St. at 7 a.m. and found his passenger-side window smashed, but no property missing, police said.

On June 27, a man parked his car in front of 136 Allen St. at 11 p.m. and returned at 3 a.m. to find the rear passenger-side window smashed, but again nothing was stolen, police said.

Then on June 24, a man returned to his car parked at 63 Ludlow St. at 10:45 p.m. and found his passenger-side window broken, and a duffel bag filled with clothes and a North Face backpack containing a Macbook, worth a total of $1,900, missing from the car, according to authorities.

There were no arrests regarding these incidents as of Thursday.
