TODT HILL — A 71-year-old woman was struck while crossing a Todt Hill street Saturday and died from her injuries two days later, police said.
Sauchu Chen, 71, was crossing Westwood Avenue at Todt Hill Road outside the intersection at about 7:25 p.m. when she was hit by the driver of a Mercury Sedan trying to make a left turn onto the block, the NYPD said.
The driver had a turn signal at the time and struck Chen with the car's left bumper, police said.
Chen was taken to Staten Island University Hospital North and died from her injuries on Monday, police said.
The driver remained on the scene and wasn't arrested, the NYPD said.
