Man Rubs Sleeping Subway Rider's Thigh on 3 Train, Police Say

PENN STATION — Police are searching for a man who rubbed a straphanger's thigh after she fell asleep on a 3 train, the NYPD said.

The 26-year-old woman told police she was asleep on a northbound 3 train around 6:30 a.m. on Monday when she felt someone rubbing her inner thigh.

The passenger managed to snap a photo of the man before he fled the train at the 34th St.-Penn Station station.

Police are searching for an approximately 6-foot-1, 200-pound man between the ages of 32 and 42, with brown eyes and black hair.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue jacket and brown shoes, the NYPD said.
