SUNSET PARK — A man in Sunset Park followed a woman in broad daylight before trying to snatch her purse earlier this month, police said Sunday.
The victim, a 21-year-old woman, was approached by the man who followed her at 55th Street and 7th Avenue at about 4:40 p.m. on June 6, police said.
The woman fell down and scratched her knee as the man tried to grab her purse, police said.
Police released a photo of the suspect Sunday night. He is described as standing 5-foot-8, with black eyes, black hair and was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and baseball cap.
The incident is still under investigation.
