HARLEM — A cab driver was ordered “give me your f—king money” then pepper sprayed when he refused by two passengers last week, according to police.

The driver picked up a man and a woman, roughly 22 and 19 years old, respectively, at an undisclosed location and then dropped them at East 117th Street and Lexington Avenue in East Harlem at about 3 p.m., police said.

As the couple left the cab, they demanded money from the driver. The cabbie told the couple he did not have any money, police said.

The suspects then pepper sprayed him, causing temporary blindness, and then left without paying the fare, police said.

Police said the female suspect left her cellphone behind in the cab before fleeing on foot with her male companion.

The couple was "well-dressed" and wearing sunglasses, police said, and there have been no arrests made.

The female suspect was 5-foot-8 and about 100 pounds. The male was 5-foot-10 and weighed about 120 pounds, according to police.

Anyone with information about the crime can call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
