TRIBECA — Time was not on his side.
A man had his $25,000 Patek Philippe watch stolen out of his TriBeCa Equinox gym locker, police said, after leaving it for just 10 minutes.
The 45-year-old told police that he locked his pricey timepiece in a locker at about 4 p.m. on June 9, then went downstairs for 10 minutes to buy some shorts from the gym's store.
When he returned, the lock was missing from his locker, as was his watch.
Police were still investigating the incident.
