You Can't Park on These Streets During the Pride Parade on Sunday

WEST VILLAGE — The NYPD's 6th Precinct, responsible for Greenwich Village and the West Village, tweeted out a map Tuesday showing where parking is not allowed — and your car will be towed — during this Sunday's Pride Parade.

Here are the streets where you can't park on Sunday:

► West 14th Street between Union Square West and Sixth Avenue

► Fifth Avenue from Washington Square Park to West 14th Street

► West 12th Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues

► West 10th Street from West Street to Fifth Avenue

► Christopher Street from West Street to Sixth Avenue

► West 8th Street between University Place and Sixth Avenue

► Sixth Avenue from West 11th Street to Washington Place

► Greenwich Avenue from West 10th Street to Sixth Avenue

► West 4th Street from West 10th Street to MacDougal Street

► West Third Street between Sixth Avenue and MacDougal Street

► Bleecker Street from West 10th Street to Sixth Avenue

► Seventh Avenue South from Charles Street to Bleecker Street

► Grove Street from Bleecker Street to Waverly Place

► Greenwich Street from Houston Street to Bethune Street

► Washington Street from Houston Street to West 12th Street

► Hudson Street from West 14th Street to Bethune Street

► Horatio Street from Washington Street to West 4th Street

► Jane Street from West Street to Eighth Avenue

► West 12th Street from West Street to Hudson Street

► Bank Street from West Street to Hudson Street

► West 11th Street from West Street to Washington Street

► Barrow Street from West Street to Greenwich Street

► Morton Street from West Street to Hudson Street

The 6th Precinct said they tow many cars every year. Cars are generally towed to a legal parking space nearby, usually east of the parade route.

Many of the streets above will also be closed to car traffic on Sunday. The NYPD plans to release the full list of closed streets on Friday.
