3 Teens Wanted for Attempted Armed Robbery in Williamsburg, Police Say

BROOKLYN — Police are looking for three teens who tried to rob a 17-year-old at gunpoint in Williamsburg Monday afternoon.

The three suspects, who police said were all boys between 15 and 16 years old, approached a 17-year-old boy outside Onomea Restaurant at 84 Havemeyer St. around 3:30 p.m. on June 13.

Surveillance footage released by the NYPD shows one would-be robber, dressed in a red-striped T-shirt with a logo and gray jeans, pull out a black firearm from a blue plastic bag. The three suspects then demanded the teen's property, but the victim ran away.

The three suspects also fled on foot empty-handed, according to the NYPD.

Police said an investigation is ongoing and no arrests had been made as of Tuesday afternoon.
