TIMES SQUARE — A pair of Food and Finance High School students punched a 76-year-old McDonald’s employee in the face after he asked them to quiet down, police said.

The 17-year-old girls were inside a McDonald’s at 1651 Broadway, at the corner of West 51st Street and Broadway, around 12:45 p.m. on June 14 when the employee asked the teens to lower their voices, the NYPD said.

The teens pushed the 76-year-old and punched him in the left side of his face, leaving him with redness and swelling, police said.

The employee received medical attention at the eatery, and the two girls were arrested, the NYPD said.

The teens — both of whom attend Food and Finance High School at 525 W. 50th St., between 10th and 11th avenues — received desk appearance tickets, police said.

A manager working at the McDonald’s on Tuesday said she couldn’t provide any information about the incident because she wasn’t working at the time.

A city Department of Education spokeswoman on Tuesday referred the matter to the NYPD.
