QUEENS — Take a foodie trip to Tbilisi by participating in a Georgian family-style dinner this Wednesday in Rego Park.

The feast, organized by the Queens Dinner Club — a series of events in which a group of diners visits different restaurants throughout the borough — will take place at Marani, a glatt kosher eatery at 97-26 63rd Road between 97th and 98th streets.

The restaurant, the organizers said, is unique among kosher eateries because it features meat and dairy under one roof.

The event will start at 7 p.m. in Marani’s downstairs dairy kitchen, where a selection of Georgian cheese breads will be served.

The 5-course dinner will kick off at 7:45 p.m. in the upstairs dining room. Guests will get to savor a variety of Georgian specialties, including herring with potatoes, khinkali, or dumplings with lamb and beef, beef and lamb kebabs, soko ketsze, which consists of mushrooms baked in clay pot and chanahi, which is beef stew with eggplant, pepper, onion and potato, the organizers said.

The Queens Dinner Club was formed earlier this year by a pair of foodies from Queens — Astoria chef Jonathan Forgash and food writer Joe DiStefano

Tickets for the dinner are $60.50 and can be purchased here
