WASHINGTON HEIGHTS – Police said they arrested an 18-year-old wanted in the shooting death of a 41-year-old man from Washington Heights.

Gaston Taveras, from Harlem, was arrested Wednesday for shooting Dejon McInnis in the leg outside 500 W. 157th St. on April 15, police said.

Taveras struck an artery in McInnis' leg and he died at Harlem Hospital, officials said. Sources said police were trying to determine whether McInnis, who was carrying several vials of crack at the time of the shooting, was shot as a result of a turf dispute.

Information about the second suspect pictured in a video and photos released in connection with the murder was not immediately available.
